At present, it's alleged that it happened. Could just be a nutty fan trying to make a buck, but on the other hand, doing this kind of research for a role is something actors engage in. Have to wait to see how it plays out in court (unless they settle out of court, but that always gives off the impression that the accused is/are guilty).
shareMany of the Saving Hope actors have said they've witness actual surgeries as research/experience for the show, but there's no way they've done it without the patients' consent. And I'm sure they just observed, not actually participated. This is someone just looking to get some publicity and money.
