New watcher need to verify

So I saw this being advertised on ION tv. So I started watching and I'm not sure if it's because of the recording but there is this annoying blue light that acts like an aura off any bright light or anything white. It's happened in 3 episodes now, so is this something that is part of the filming?

Yes. It's mostly used in the ghost/supernatural scenes.

This show has already aired, I think in Canada. Other people have said the blue light gets less use (read: less annoying) in later episodes.

I have seen all 4 seasons, and I do not agree that it gets less usage/annoying as time goes on. Just my opinion.

The blue light appears when a ghost's or a spirit appear. So, expect the blue light to appear whenever a ghost or a spirit show up....
