So need an opinion if I should continue...

There might be some spoilers here so don't read if you haven't completed season 3.
Okay so I binge watched seasons 1-3. I am very happy with the season 3 final episode where Charlie and Alex seem to be on their road to a happy ending.
From what I can tell that's where the series was supposed to end? but it got picked up from another network. For other shows that has not gone well.

So question is should I just stay happy with ending season 3 or do I forge ahead with the possibility that everything gets all boggled up again.

Will it go okay without having Joel in the mix? I'm not into the vampire shows so he's done for me.

Tell me if you honestly think the writers are doing justice to the original story line?

It has always been on the same network in its home country, Canada. Midway through Season 3 it was renewed for a fourth season, and in December it was renewed for a fifth. Season 4 just finished airing in Canada.

Season 4 picks up 11 months after S3 ended, with Alex returning to work after maternity leave. I thought Season 4 was great, possibly the best one yet, and that was in part due to Joel not being there. No more love triangle, just Alex and Charlie trying to make things work with everyday life, Luke, and the ghosts.

Highly recommend catching up on Season 4.

Season 4 was really good ... in part because Joel was not there!!! No more love triangle...Alex is with Charlie ... No secrets .....Alex knows about Charlie ghost's. The cliffhanger towards Season 5 Alex does get back her passion for Charlie ..... Daniel Gillies asks to killed off from Saving Hope .... Daniel is Happy living down in the USA, doing the Originals, and raising his two beautiful kids .....
