Has the culture of romance really f*d up women?

Two gorgeous, kind men with good jobs rejected because the women want to go spark hunting.

Real life can't be all fireworks.

There's much more to it than that.

With Alex and Charlie, something has evidently changed in her since her near-death experience. That one patient, the sleepwalker who stabbed her, said something to Charlie about Alex having 'forgotten something'; if/when she gets it back, things will probably return to normal.

As for Maggie and Gavin, again, things have changed since the miscarriage. That is obviously an extremely difficult thing to go through and I believe Maggie needs some time to heal.

I had Magggie mostly in mind.

She did dump him on the grounds that she wants someone more passionate, not because she needs to heal.

I never liked Maggie. I never thought she was in love with Gavin at all since they started. He just wanted someone to care for her. And she wants sex. Shes a horny slut. Gavin deserves better.

I've never gotten that impression.

Ehh, that's probably only the women who consume that type of film in mass quantities to the point where it becomes like pornography. They develop unrealistic expectations of men, women, relationships, and life in general. They're such utter rubbish I personally can't even watch them unless it's something genre-bending and original. I like your sig, by the way; Deathstroke is awesome, definitely one of my favourite DC characters.

She`s not only horny. She`s a flaky little ditz too.

reply

They would NEVER have tried to be a couple if she hadn`t been knocked up.

reply

Maggie & Gavin were a couple long before she got pregnant.....

reply

They seemed more like FWB to me. Gavin seemed like he was WAY more invested in the relationship than Mags.
