Boy did Katniss get lucky!

How did she know that Coyne was going to be standing directly behind Snow at the execution? It wasn't as if here was an obvious seating area that the new "interim president" would naturally be standing. And what was her plans if she wasn't?

I guess expecting logic from a young adult novel is a little too much. To accept the plans that work simply because they worked. No matter how much they relied on EVERYTHING being JUST RIGHT.

She didn't know that Coin would be in that position. She was intent on taking revenge
on Coin, but she didn't have a specific plan. She saw her chance and took it. And it's
not surprising that Coin would be in such a prominent position. This was her moment
of victory in her quest to take Snow's place as autocratic leader of Panem.

In the book Coin wasn't even standing just behind Snow. But she was standing in a prominent position in order to be seen by the crowd, and that's all Katniss needed. What is illogical about that?
