BeeTee

Why did it appear that BeeTee electrified himself by throwing the spear with the metal point into the force field? Did he? If he did, why? If not, how did he end up electrified and therefore crippled in MJ1? I think I missed something. Thanks.

im guessing after hearing the plan going to hell he decided the best thing he could do on his own was try to blow the forcefield himself using the spear attached to the lightning wire. No idea why he did so before the lightning struck.

You call that a cameltoe? Put your cheeks into it!

Maybe he was trying to construct something that would connect the forcefield to the tree. But his spear was improperly insulated ( after all, he was trying to work with crude tools and no instruments) and the forcefield knocked him out.

Yeah I found this odd considering he is a genius. It almost implies his plan was always to destroy the force field. Can maybe someone who read the book give some clarification? Thanks.

Even a genius needs tools and measuring instruments if he's trying to put together something complex. Part of the cruelty of the games is that the tributes are deprived of ordinary aids to daily living. For example, when Peeta wanted to write something down, he had to make scratches in a leaf.
