I really don't get the fuss about these films. The first one was ok but this one was garbage. Nothing really happens and the action is lacking in the extreme.
It's just a crappy love story in a way.
Still, it's much better than the *beep* Twilight movies, not that that's saying anything...

Well you know, Elisabeth Bank's character and that whole bizarre *beep* for a film like this? It's weird imo. If you think about all the hype surrounding films like this and then look at what actually happens, a tough but nice girl with a bow and arrow who feels things but then doesn't feel things.

And the weird special effects that somehow turned into that mocking jay dress the terribly-named Katnis was wearing.???WHAT THE *beep*? 1 out of 10 *beep*
I watched 1 and 2 for the first time back to back. 2 was a real disappointment. It's almost beat for beat the first movie until the 3rd act. The CGI is worse and then later in the film it tries too hard to be like Harry Potter with weird magical *beep* happening. At least in the first one stuff could be explained with technology. Also Katniss was much prettier in the first one and wore much less makeup. They have her looking like a super model in 2 even before she goes to the capital.
The first movie was colorful and very rich themes. They toned it way, way down in the 2nd and made it look dark.
Author is crazy for naming her Katniss. We know damn well everyone would be calling her CatPiss.

Could your post be any more incorrect? You do know the Harry Potter movies are British, so domestically would be UK? And the movies did best domestically.
Obviously I was not saying Twilight was better, they are the worst movies ever imo.
funny, i thought the exact opposite.
missed half of the 1st film cus it was boring drivel at times.
this one was a bit more entertaining and action-packed and had more interesting characters (Johanna, Finnick)
Watch Battle royale Insteadt It's much more epic and horrifying.
These teens movie are nothing but cr*p.
The first one is considered the weakest one by fans (I'm not one) but I enjoyed it more than this one.
