Phenomenal cast
I'm not really into cars, nor do I have much interest in this story, but with a cast including Christian Bale, Matt Damon, and Jon Bernthal? Count me in!
shareAnd you got James Mangold directing it (his last film was Logan — not too shabby). While funnily I can’t say I have much interest in the story myself (it’s, uh, possibly zero), this film looks slick.

shareDid you see it? I went today, and was not disappointed. I know next to nothing about cars, and until the movie started I wasn't aware that 24-hour car races existed, but Damon, Bale, and everyone else knocked it out of the park. I wouldn't call this a classic, nor is it a film I'm likely to rewatch, but it was worth the price of a matinee ticket.
shareI did. I saw it this last week and was surprised by how much I thoroughly enjoyed it (more than I expected). It was beautifully crafted, it held my interest the entire time even though I’m not a race car guy myself, and Bale & Damon were of course exceptional (great acting by everyone). Pretty solid film. And while I’m also in no hurry to go see it again, it was indeed worthwhile.
