Does the show 'Finding Bigfoot' exist?

So, it's almost July, and I've read on different sites that the show....

1) is cancelled

2) is currently filming episodes for Season
10

3) has an undecided future

Animal Planet has it listed as a returning show for the 2016-2017 season, but no confirmed dates. Heard rumors Season 10 will start in December 2016.

There are no re-runs that have been broadcast lately, which is unusual since AP re-runs everything.
And I know the format of each episode is the same, but I think it's a fun show, as long as you don't expect actually finding Bigfoot to be the result.

The "further" episodes are kind of funny with the pop-up comments from the cast. Is there in-fighting going on? Has Bigfoot captured the foursome?

Epguides.com is usually pretty up to date, and they list it as a current show (as opposed to cancelled): http://epguides.com/FindingBigfoot/

It looks like the show usually takes about 5-6 month break, and the last episode was about 2 months ago.

I'm guessing you'll start hearing something within the next couple months, whether a new season announcement, or a cancellation announcement.

I know a lot of people enjoy the show, so I hope it continues!

Thank you, AlarmedGibbon, you're right, they do take a good bit of time between seasons.

This site says it's both cancelled AND they're filming Season 10, so...

I'm still surprised at the lack of re-runs, though, since AP re-runs many programs throughout their weekly schedule.
