I wish they would've shown her other abilities, not just telekinesis

In the novel, aside from very advanced telekinesis, Carrie was also an extremely powerful telepath. And the full extent of that ability was shown several times:
- the first time Tommy asks her to the prom, he instantly feels a strange sensation in his head, similar to disgust;
- at the prom the same Tommy was growing afraid of her, because Carrie (unintentionally) reached into his mind and "rearranged" things. Her image and mental voice were so powerful that they blanked all other thoughts Tommy was having.
- immediately after the massacre, during her rampage, she was broadcasting her thoughts to everybody in town. Even people that never knew her, immediately knew what her name is, what she looks like and what she did.
- after Chris and Billy died, Sue feels drawn to the now dying Carrie. After she finds her, she allows Carrie to read her mind so she can see she had nothing to do with the prank. Sue literally gets "mindraped", which she later describes as a very painful experience.


I feel the movie(s) didn't show her telepathy as much as they should have.
