The bucket

Since when has a bucket like that dropped onto someone's head and they keep over and die?

This made no sense to me. It couldn't have been extremely heavy when the blood was in it, so why the dramatics of it hitting tommy on the head l, instantly killing him?

fell from the ceiling of a gym (that's a long way down). Also could have struck rim-first, compressing the point of impact to just a couple of inches. Under those conditions, at least a concussion would be expected...a broken skull at the most.

I know what you mean. When I saw that part I was like "Oh man, that was an empty bucket. There is NO WAY anyone could have survived that." There was no need to even check for a pulse.

The drop from the ceiling to the stage was not far at all if you pay attention to other shots and the bucket was a light and end empty bucket. So a heavy concussion is expected but it is pretty far fetched for it to be fatal. That was just so dumb.

oh god, another dummy---the bucket weighed about 5 lbs and had some blood still in it (per the book) which made it about ten lbs-add the height so it was about 25 to 30lbs of weight that hit Tommy on the head-that means death
