Chloe stinks up the screen again-so sad-she had so much potential in Kick Ass then lost it! She was just too pretty for this part-didn't work on any level.
And the rest of the cast! Man, Juliann Moore was in over her head-miscast as well and just a shadow of Piper's amazing work in 1976.
oh, and the "bad" girl-she was the worst-not pretty, bad actress.
The 76 Carrie is a masterpiece of horror-this, just a pile of crap-shame since we have so few women directors. She really blew it and gave women directors a bad name!

It was bad because ut was PG 13. Ugh I hate it.

I don't really see the point of this remake if I'm going to be honest with you. Even the 2002 remake was closer to the book so I can see why they made it. But neither of them come close to the amazing 1976 film.

As it stands, this film isn't awful, but isn't great either. There's nothing about it that makes it stand apart from the previous 2 adaptations.
