I missed the first minute. Does it say who carries father is? Maybe some indication of her powers.
shareI read the book 17 years ago, but I do remember that Carrie's father was named Ralph White, who was a religious nutjob, like Margaret, and he was not involved in Carrie's life whatsoever, because he dies in an accident before she is born. If my memory doesn't fail, I think the novel mentions that Carrie got her powers from her dad's side of the family (but Ralph himself didn't have telekinetic powers)
