Of the two ( not including Rage Carrie) movies. Which one is more like the novel?

Of the two theatrical movies, this one departs slightly less from the book, except for the time period, but still seems to take more cues from the earlier movie. The 2002 telefilm is closer to the book than either of the theatrical films, but adds a lot of additional scenes and drastically changes the ending.
