Hello, I finished watching Nymphomaniac 1 & 2, and I saw some intercourse happen. I've heard there are several versions out there. Which one did I see? Cut or Uncut?

You actually saw the uncensored one.

I'm actually confused as well. Before the film there was a disclaimer stating that the version I saw was a cencored version of the film but that it had Lars Von Trier's approval. I saw every kind of sex and genitals happening with lots of close-ups so I'm not sure what the hell the uncensored version is supposed to look like.

If you watched the cut version of the movie theres a text in the beginning telling you it's been cut without the involvement by Lars but with his approval.

So if I watched the Blu-ray that has both Part I and II unrated, did I watch his approved version?

Nobody has seen the uncut one yet. The uncut version of part I has only played at festivals, and the uncut part II is premiering at Venice this year.

Look at the running time. There are 2 versions, the shorter one being that run in theaters: 117 min | 145 min (uncut). At first I also saw the shorter version, and liked it a lot. The longer one is even better, having more details. It's not a radical departure with respect to the shorter, only bits and pieces, but altogether they amount to giving more grounding to the story.
