Christian Slater the only worthwhile part of Vol 1

I'm about to view volume 2 and thus far I am fairly unimpressed, except with Slater's performance in the hospital. It's the only time in the film that Joe shows any signs of emotion.

You probably won't enjoy vol 2. Vol 1 is at least entertaining, with many humorous scenes, but vol 2 is just dirty and violent.

You were right. Screw that ending too.

Not the only worthwhile part, but I was completely surprised how he was probably the best part of the whole thing since I'm definitely no fan of his. I wished they had gone further with the father-daughter relationship, rather than leaving it so abstract. But I guess that's what childhood is like, in that you are taught things which are processed abstractly due to your limited understanding of the world.

I thought Uma Thurman was pretty good in it.

Came here to give Slater some praise. He was great!!

Agreed, Christian and Shia are the only reasons to watch this film, personally speaking.

How can you not love that Uma Thurmon scene though?

Some people don't want to give women any credit. Slater was great in this. Totally unexpected.

Now ask me how I really feel, I'm just here for the comments.

 and when Post Pump Up Slater is the best thing in a movie, that's saying how bad the movie is.
