For a WW3 type conflict that was very underwhelming.

i mean it seemed very tame for a WW3 level war. not to mention very short.

WW3 could have been stretched into 2 games but they wanted to wrap up MW so we got a short war that basically starts in Act 2 and ends in Act3 lol.

Yeah, if they committed to an idea of a actual world war, it would be dragged on and on. I mean in this game alone it took three missions to get the Russians to withdraw and assault Europe to end the war with a status quo ante bellum.

It was stretched over two games, it started with the Russians invading the US in act 1 of MW2.

But it was finished by the beginning of MW3, that's just not probable. It would have been more believable if it had spanned another trilogy.
