Is it possible they delayed it again to give the fans the R cut instead?

It's interesting that IMDB hasn't changed the page to PG-13. Yeah the latest poster says PG-13, but with the delay they can probably remake them to say rated R. Who knows.

That would be pretty cool. Maybe they heard complaints and saw how good Deadpool was doing.

Probably because the initial screenings were so abysmally received they resulted in the audience becoming possessed by rage demons. ;D
