Can they stop pretending this will come out in theaters?

It's been pushed back for over 3 years, just cut your losses and release it straight to DVD. It's getting ridiculous

It most likely will still get a theatrical release, but January is hardly the best time. My hope is they didn't screw the movie up the way Halloween 6 was.
