I'm sure I've seen this a few years ago,on dvd in the uk.

I went through the Amityville movies like a trooper although i only really enjoyed the first two and the one with the mirror, this one reminds me of insidious (the boy trapped and his body unoccupied) not the darth maul stuff

There's been like 14 other Amityville movies, I'm sure you saw one of those.

As the other poster said, no. You didn't see this movie. You probably saw one of the many sequels. This movie is basically in development/production hell apparently.
