A member on Blu-ray.com claims to have seen a new trailer for this in front of Office Christmas Party. I can't seem to confirm its existence anywhere else, but this is what he said about it:
"It focuses less on the older brother and more on Bella Thorne. In the trailer it ends with Bella slowly walking around the house then she backs up into a door and some arms break through and grab her."
Hoping it's true and the movie finally actually comes out.
Some of that stuff was in TV spots back in March/April.
shareWell, that last shot you describe was in the two TV spots that were released around March when the film was supposed to come out in April.
However, on Deluxe Cinema Portal (which is basically a site that shows what available trailers theaters are able to play before a film), I don't see Amityville listed among the trailers. I'm not saying I don't believe you, it's just bizarre.
What's more interesting though is that there IS two versions of the trailer, according to Deluxe Cinema Portal. One is labeled "trl 1" and "trl 2".
I work at a theater, so I'll see if my bosses can help me out with this.
