I wanted to like it, I liked it somewhat, but was glad it was short

It was a bit annoying, felt like it was trying too hard. I like raunchy humor and I don't have any problem with vulgar language or gay romance or sex or any of what contributed to this being kind of annoying. It just felt forced.

I like over-the-top comedies that have some of these same elements, like "No Hard Feelings" comes to mind from recently. It works when it seems natural and effortless, and something about this felt not quite genuine.

1 It just felt forced.
2 It was not funny.
3 Only thing I appreciated was Annie Gonzalez's tits. The movie goes downhill after that scene.

When is it not "forced", exactly?

The movie was written by a lesbian.

The acting is pretty good across the board. Especially Margaret Qualley, she is great in this. My gripe is the mystery/thriller elements are not that interesting. If it was just a wacky road trip movie, it might had been more tonally consistent.
