Was anyone expecting them to reveal that Zachariah's wife Maggie was Also Hans' wife Myra. I was thinking after she left Zachariah, she went on to change her name and marry Hans.
I'm not sure the timeline would work, but I was expecting that to be the final twist.

Also how in HELL did Magie and Zachariah figure out who The Zodiac Killer was? robert Graysmith worked on solving the case for years and years but never came up with anything that led to an arrest; although he believes he had narrowed it down to two(?) suspects, I believe....
shareThey probably didn't know and just killed someone they thought might have been the zodiac killer. Part of the reason why Zach didn't want to participate I guess. When he tells the story, he doesn't even refer to him as "the zodiac killer", he just calls him "that hippie".

About the OP: The movie makes a point about bad female dialogue and characters, and also the poor black girl that gets no justice within the law appears twice. It's more like a red herring or poetic symmetry. Or about how random details make things feel connected when they are not.

shareMyra and Hans had a child which got killed in her teens, or later, and the murderer got sentenced. And many years later released and all the years Hans and Myra visibly watched the murderer of their baby, to constantly remind him, and the years later too. Theres no room for Zach at all.
To me it actually seems more like that Hans and Myra married very young and theres no hint she was absent for years.
I never connected her with the black pycho lady of rabbit dude.

I think it is. zach met her when she was a teenager in some judges basement lets say they was together 10 years she many have been 23-25 when he left her that gives her 40-50 years to be with hans assuming they're between 63-75
