She still going be friends with her 'best' friend?

Okay, first all, there's a lot of things in this movie that I thought was obviously very unrealistic, but I can let a lot of that pass because its a ABC Family movie, but the part that really ticked me off was she was still going be friends with her ex-best friend after she was indirectly responsible for causing her to attempt suicide. She faked a profile, made up rumors about her, yet Taylor is still going to be friends with her?

I really can't believe that, unless the main character was literally that stupid. And her mom does nothing to confront her. She just shrugs it off. Any real parent would've strangled that girl or had her thrown in jail.

Normally I wouldn't, but because they're trying to deal with a serious topic and real life issues, it's just stupid.

Maybe it helped her feel better that the friend would be her friend again. Sort of like erasing what happened. I think you might need to be a victim of abuse, or close to someone who has, to understand it. It is a very odd dynamic.

Yeah I doubt that. I had a close friend who pulled similar crap on me in middle school, and when I found out, I never talked to them again. The girl is indirectly responsible for her attempting suicide and the reason people started picking on her friend. Getting back with her seemed kind of (really) stupid.

But I shouldn't really be looking into this much, it was a bad film overall, but that part just bothered me.

Yeah, but if you're looking at it that way then Taylor's brother is also indirectly to blame since he was the first one to even initiate it all. After all, when he hacked her profile he started all of the bad comments.

What I didn't get was, in the beginning when Taylor apparently insulted Bitchface (can't remember her name right now, the one chick who kept calling her a slut and stuff that they told off at the end) in health class and Bitchface was mad at her for it, why didn't she just go up to her and tell her she didn't mean to insult her and apologize? It might not have helped anything, but you never know.
