Ridgeway High School only had 300 kids?

The other local high school, Ridgeway High School, is where that James kid is from. However, one of the girls mentions that that high school only has around 300 kids. Really, 300 kids? What kind of high school has that low amount of kids? Is it a special needs school or something?

My high school, as well as any other high school in my district, had at least 2500 kids. Besides, most suburban high schools have atleast 1000 kids. And its not like they live in a small farm town, they live in the freaking suburbs! How can a high school in suburbia have only 300 kids?

My school has only around 500 pupils because of there being another, bigger high school not far up the road from it. If this Ridgeway High School only has around 300 kids maybe it's because of the school they go to being really close to it?

By my estimation, my HS had only c. 500 students attending. Although it was a private school, so I dunno if that would've influenced things...

The high school I graduated from had less then 100 students and the high school I attended previous to that was around 300. It happens.

Where did you people attend school? I mean, was it a small town? Or in the suburbs?

Are you talking about the whole school or just their grade?

You do know some towns are smaller than others right? My HS had 400 in my graduating class. But then we had a 2nd High School which also had 400. Then they combined them 10 years ago because there weren't' enough kids to fill both schools. My town isn't even that small and it's a suburb of NYC. But if you are talking about the entire HS then its about 1600.

I live in a pretty big city in FL and there's only about 300 people in my high school.

I live in a small New York town with 600 something kids in it, so yeah, high school's can be pretty small. My neighboring town only has 300 something.

By the way they talked about it, I assumed Ridgeway was a private school. "Ohhh, he goes to Ridgeway..."

That being said, I graduated from a public school with a class of 25. Small town, but it happens.

Most privates schools have about 300 kids, just saying.

Also, Ridgeway may have been a magnet school or maybe it was just plain small.

My local public school has about 300 kids and it is for three towns (and yes, I live in the suburbs.)
