ok back then in the 90s kids werent this mean.
i can say i am a tough, asshat person but i think if people
did these things to me i wouldve been expelled by beating them up, i cant help it. i have no idea how the girl have gone through without beating up that other girl. her patience is impeccable.

in conclusion i dont think it is realistic to expect kids to swallow concrete and toughen up as some user suggested. u need to have some kind of an outlet.

They are not this mean because this movie is highly unrealistic. But kids in the 90s were indeed mean. Just as mean as they are today.
