you kidding? that was freakin entertaining!

"Hating on haters is a form of Hatin!"

It really irritated me that a 17 year old couldnt get the cap off a prescription bottle. They could have been a little more dramatic like her already swallowing the pills, and she passes out. Other than that great movie

A seventeen year old who is not in their right mind and frantic might not have the concentration and dexterity to open a prescription bottle... also she would still go to the hospital for suicide watch- even without ingesting or cutting anything.

this. that scene was really stupid bu otherwise its a good movie.

When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...

That was just hilarious. Why'd she have to go to the hospital when she didn't even take anything? So, so silly.

reply

She'd just tried to commit suicide.

What did you think they'd do? Pat her on the head and advise her to watch sex and the city with some ice cream?

reply

But see she DIDN'T try to commit suicide. I didn't understand why she went to the hospital either. She definitely needed to see a psychiatrist but I didn't understand why she needed a bed in a hospital.

reply

I'm not sure but I want to say if you attempt suicide, they're going to take you to the hospital to check your mental health and then decide what to do. Even though she didn't get that far.

reply

If you make a serious attempt, they will take you to the hospital and treat the issue (ie pump your stomach, stop the bleeding, and/or observe you overnight for complications). If they believe you to be a threat to yourself, even if you failed to cause any harm, you will be sent to the psych ward, usually for three days of observation.

But how she was sent to the ER in this movie was quite unrealistic.

reply

They probably didn't want to really go there seeing as it's a made for abc family channel movie. I do think they did a disservice with that scene though, if they had Sam find Taylor like in the bathtub with an empty bottle next to her I personally think it would have more impact. The whole "I CAN'T GET IT OPEN" was a little too unintentinaly comical for the scene.
