Make sure to teach your daughters the vaule of self respect!
Although I believe this HS world isn't like this TOO much because who really gives a *beep* about what other people think? I'm not saying it don't happen but it's hard to believe that it get THIS extreme.
Any girl who has friends who ditch the moment gossip gets spreads- deserves a kick in the ass.
And if anyone really does do this online or in public- you for damn sure deserve a swift kick in the face. NO person deserves to be bullied in any type of way.
However, we all know not everyone can avoid it of it does happen that's why I strongly agree the schools should speak about this issue bc it DOES happen.
Now, this film was bizzare for the mere the fact that she could have avoided it..so this movie isn't a fave of mines.

Right but could you stop talking about 'girls' when you should just be talking about kids? There are no real differences between genders, no need to be so brainwashed about it.

The OP is clearly underestimating how bitchy school girls can be and how instantly they can turn on each other in order to maintain their popularity.

Very true. I work with these wonderful boys and girls in different age groups and it's a serious problem. To many of our youth are commuting suicide or pushed to kill others with a school shooting every week. It's hard to imagine but these kids in highschool their lives are in those 4 years and that is it. They get abused and alienated and it's like any addiction or something of that nature and do not know there is help out there. Good message for this film.. The people that say ignorant things do not know what it's like ,especially between young girls who can be super clicky and be very mean towards their peers. Think before you say dumb stuff because a young man or woman takes their life a lot more than you think over this!!
