She wasn't even the one bullying the main character! Also, how is she any more vapid or worse than Taylor? Taylor was actually a lot more shallow, inconsiderate, rude, and obnoxious than any of the other characters.

shareLindsey did start stuff in the beginning and she made that video, remember? While Samantha made the fake profile and went way out of line, Lindsey wasn't innocent. Taylor did say some mean stuff, but she never made any videos or fake profiles and when someone is saying bad stuff about you online, it's tempting to respond that way.

Lindsay was bad but she made that video only after she read the rumors. Then Scott and the black girl avoided Taylor her once the rumors started? Some friends!
Now once Samantha had "confessed", all was forgotten. They suddenly felt to be on the moral high ground and started lecturing Lindsay, and the whole class started clapping? What hypocrisy! I think the film wanted to give a "lesson" to kids but the ending was stupid.
Yeah I would not have forgiven Samantha if I were Taylor, but like I said Lindsay was the one who made that video which was what really pushed Taylor to try to kill herself.
