Hardly. Is she a racist too then? I mean, one of the guys was black. Oh and whilst we're at it - is she anti-men too? Get some perspective, you moron.

I was responding in the thread to the OP - it's not my fault that IMDb hasn't got a good message board layout and you made the assumption I was referring to you. However, you can be sure that this post is a response to you.
Fair enough. You clicked reply to my post instead of the OP, so you can see what I thought that, right?
shareOf course. But like I said, IMDb has a rubbish layout so that even if you do click 'reply' to the OP it still shows as a response to the previous poster.
shareAlly-19, use the "nest" sort rather than "flat" and you will see the proper response structure. Switch back to "flat" if you want to see the latest post listed last.
moron.
shareAsleton shows what happens to men who sacrifice their well-being for what they believe to be the right thing and how society treats them when they return home. These men did what they thought was right and then were discarded by society and the horror of their situation returned home with them and spread to others. Asleton is supportive in her endeavour as she shows what happens but should not. Now it's up to society to ensure men who sacrifice are not basically thrown out like garbage when they return home from war.
shareBet you've never seen a day of combat have you mate? Let them fight their own battles, because you're certainly not a hero. What you're saying, basically, is that every portrayal of any veteran must be positive. Maybe go back to jerking off to guns and ammo?
shareI thought by the end of this film, it would elaborate on WHY they mentioned they only served 18 days (this government would never spend that kind of money on airfare unless the person had been brutally wounded and/or DEAD), and why they were "dishonorably" discharged- they must have done something MESSED UP for that to happen, and correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't dishonored vets not allowed to own firearms for the rest of their lives??
I thought there would be a twist, like they were zombie soldiers or something similar, since 18 days is an almost unheard of term length... and like I said, maybe they came home in caskets (unlikely in this "war" compared to any other though), but that's another matter. Does anyone know why or what they did to serve only 2 weeks and basically be kicked out of the army? I get the one Deliverance-lookin dude was some sort of sociopath, but what about the other two?
They had been back for 18 days after serving 3 terms, I think, not an 18 day term. The details of the dishonourable discharge weren't clear but it was suggested that Henry broke protocol to save the lives of his two friends.

OMG you're so right! Like, what's with all these peoples insulting the poor PSDs?
Seriously... what the hell is PSD? It's called PTSD, aka Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. I'm sorry, but if you don't even know what you're talking about to begin with, don't cast aspersions on others. It was a decent movie. But you know, keep reading hidden agendas into it. I'm sure that'll help you more in the long run than actually oh, I don't know... learning something.
Heroes? LOL!
