When people die they DONT go to Heaven or Hell instantly, they are asleep until judgement day.

At the point of death, the soul departs the body; believers to heaven, unbelievers, to hell, until the Rapture when those who have died in Christ, will be risen first to meet with The Lord in the sky. "We shall all be changed".
