I for one loved this movie! I had no clue what was going to happen and it took me by suprise. I really love movies where I can't predict how it will end.
So I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for me?

I think this movie was very much influenced by Vertigo; and there are several scenes that have such a strong resemblance, that I suspect the director was "indicating" that this was something of a homage.
Here are some of my favourite movies that have a similar themes such as obsession/love, deception/trickery, with plot twists that deceive the audience along with the characters in the story...
House Of Games 1987
Basic Instinct 1992

Nine Queens/Nueve reinas (2000)
shareDitto Vertigo, this film has a similar surreal gothic vibe but Vertigo was a lot nicer.
I also recommend:
Original Sin
Dragonwyck
Diabolique
Body Double
The Girl in a Swing
Jane Eyre
Crimson Peak
Rebecca
Wuthering Heights
Old Boy
If you like films about deception generally, I recommend:
The Talented Mr. Ripley
The Usual Suspects
Primal Fear
The Prestige (someone already recommended this)
Stonehearst Asylum
21
No Way Out
Now you See Me
Shutter Island

What the hell are you talking about???? None of these movies has anything do do with the story/ plot of this movie- you' ve just picked up ( a couple of) good psychological thriller drama movies, so no relation whatsoever except the genre..........I mean, really
shareWhat's your problem? No. The films I recommended don't have the exact plot and I did mention that the first batch had a gothic feel like the film while the second were thrillers. You have serious issues, take control of yourself.
shareMatchstick Men
shareHeist, the 2001 David Mamet film starring Gene Hackman and Rebecca Pidgeon. Another unlikely couple. And much deviousness and deception.

I'd also say Laura. Another old-coot connoisseur who thinks he's going to make it with the hottest chick in town.
shareHa! I just saw that on NetFlix! Great flick!
I love the witty repartee (sp?) in it, as well.
They sure knew how to make 'em back then!
shareHi bron-tay! Thank you for the recommendation! Is it available on NetFlix?
I'm not a dwarf, but I don't go out much (reference to that HORRIBLE movie - The Perfect Offer!).
Anyway, I love old movies. I just watched "Laura" the other day. Best to you!
Hahaha! I'm looking all over Netflix for good movies. A lot of clutter on that site, but there is the occasional gem.
