sorry but John snow's abs are all i could think of throughout and after the movie. HOTTTTTT!!!! dont care if he can't act... his abs are like no *beep* way!!

Yeah but i'm thinking more in the lines of this being a Paul Anderson movie. I wasn't expecting more than a 5 outta 10 or 6 outta 10 movie and got exactly that. The movie entertained me and the actors did just enough to entertain me. So i'm satisfied.

actually I was about to say the opposite; This guy turned in a decent performance in this film; he really wasn't bad at all, and it is rare when a guy who looks like Harrington can act at all. The casting couch? I don't think so..of course actors' physical beauty is important on landing a romantic 'hero' role like this. It's always been that way. I mean, who should they have cast for a (mostly) shirtless gladiator who wins the most beautiful girl in Pompeii? Jonah Hill perhaps?

No, that's untrue. He got the role THEN started his workout.

Consequently, Kit Harington undertook a heavy 'bulking' regime and a diet of 3000 calories a day to put on 2 stones (12.7kg/28lbs) of weight in 5 weeks. He then went on a very severe diet and 'cutting' regime for 4 weeks to cut back from 12 stone (76.2kg/168lbs) to 10 stone (63.5kg/140lbs) acquiring intense muscle definition in the process. Harington later said that he was very pleased with the results and that it was the best shape of his life.

Anderson said that he was not pleased when a lot of people online said that Kit Harington's six pack abs were digitally enhanced and not real after the first stills and trailers for the movie were released. If that's true, the more accurate explanation is that he took mass gaining steroids such as Test+Dianabol for 5 weeks, and then fat-cutting steroids such as Test+Winstrol+Anavar for 4 weeks.
But it still sounds a bit BS. So he reached that physique in only 9 weeks? And he only weighs 140 lbs?
He didn't have those abs before casting. He started working out and dieting before filming. And made a transformation.

Actually if you read he did not have those abs when he was cast. In fact he was characterized as in pretty bad shape. He had to go under intense training throughout the film to get those abs so next time you should do some research to make sure you actually know what your talking about
