shareOK, to be fair, I rewatched the movie and I don't think that it was her beloved horse, Vires. I think it's just one of the ones they picked up from the arena.
So, yeah, it's still kind of sad, but Cassia probably figured the horse might be able to outrun the lava or whatever it was, and she needed to make that grand gesture to Milo in their last moments together.
