Anyone had any experiences/nights out similar to Magic Mike?

Went to one for the first time last Saturday with some friends (one girl had a birthday and another in our group had her Hen's Night). Whilst I wouldn't really go to a place like this on a daily basis, it was fun for novelty's sake.

I'd say the one we all went to had some similarities to 'Xquisite' (the club in MM)--a lot of lap dances on stage for the Bachelorettes and birthday girls mainly, a lot of different costumes and individual routines (no "group" routines like the 'It's Raining Men' one in Magic Mike). They did have a bar-top dance later on in the night though.

One of the differences however was that, there was some nudity from a couple of the guys. Also...the women were practically clawing and ravaging them/their bodies (seriously, I'm sure a few of them ended up with a couple of scratch marks later on). Is this not allowed in clubs of this kind in the states? Or was it merely something specific to the film itself (no touching rule).

Also, the overall venue wasn't as "grand" as the one in MM--it was smaller, smaller stage only for the Bachelorettes/birthday girls to get their free dance. I'd say the guys from 'Thunder Down Under' is more comparable to the get-ups and routines/choreography in MM.
