Do women actually like looking at male strippers?

I thought men are attracted by visual means much more easily than women, because what attracts women is personality and charisma. Which explains why female strip clubs and female prostitutes are so much more common. Women are beautiful, and much better on the eye than men. You also don't see women ogling men in public much, if at all, but men do it all the time to women. So what's so good about looking at naked men?

Well,I can't speak for everyone but for me the answer is:hell no.One of the biggest reasons I just can't seem to bring myself to watch this movie even though I've heard from a lot of people that it's actually good. It's just sleazy and unatracttive to me and a surefire way to turn me off.

Yes, I do enjoy it. I also like looking at women (I'm bi). And I find both genders to be beautiful in their unique and glorious ways.

How can you be a bi woman, and appreciate the beauty of the female, yet STILL find men attractive? Lol I mean it's like women all around the world are playing jokes on us guys, pretending to find us attractive. I just really don't get it. I can get how women would like a confident guy with charisma, but taking it to the bedroom is going too far in my opinion. It's something I'll die never knowing. But then again I am a straight male so I guess it's understandable.

reply

Like I said I appreciate both. Men have different bodies then women, and that makes them hot. Especially if they are muscular and hugely masculine, yum. And no it's not any kind of a joke. Men ARE attractive.

reply

That's the *beep* point of being bisexual and not just gay, dumbass. People who are attracted to both sexes. What's so hard to understand?

reply

I'm a woman who's physically attracted to women, but I have a much stronger physical attraction to men.

A guy with a great body - which, to me, means hard, with toned abs, enticing 'V' leading down to his privates, muscular arms, strong chest - arouses me much more than any woman. I adore breasts and curves (of legs, hips and butt), but don't like the look of vags. Vags turn me off. I love everything about peens, though.

Therefore, I stick to guys. I don't view myself as bi, because I'm basically straight in preference and action.

Personality is very important, but I wouldn't get with a guy I felt no physical attraction to. Most women check men out, but we're discreet. We'll point a hottie out to our friends, discreetly share an ogle, and discuss - but he won't know unless we decide he should. If I see a hot guy, I give him a second and third glance, but never stare.

While I appreciate and am turned on by nude bodies of both sexes, I find strippers of both sexes tacky, and they do nothing for me sexually. Female strippers look like cheap trash. Male strippers are even more unsexy, with a dance style that looks 'gay', as if it's designed to turn men on. It doesn't appeal to me as a woman. Most women like a bit of subtlety, not that overtly sexual pelvic thrusting. Their greased-up chests look ridiculous. That said, I came to see if Channing Tatum bares anything in this beyond what he shows in "The Vow." To me, Channing is one of the sexiest actors ever, and I'd enjoy seeing more of him. :p I won't sit through a tacky stripper movie otherwise.

So glad you asked this!!! Yes, women look. But NOT in the way portrayed by this completely misogynistic movie. The movie seems to have been made with only male urges in mind, focusing on what men THINK that women would / should like. Most women have a good ogle when opportunity allows, but this movie is definitely playing to a misguided stereotype. I mean SERIOUSLY - very few women would want to have a stripper's crotch shoved in her face on stage (let's not even go into the pseudo-rape implications)... in my opinion that is a male fantasy (one of many contained in this movie) that women have been conditioned to "fake" - to pretend to like so that they will be accepted in the male environment.

PS - I made it about half-way through the movie before I switched off in disgust. This one is a BIG "no" for me.

reply

So what do guys do that actually turns you on? (if I may ask)

reply

:) that is a very broad question with a myriad of answers. I suppose for me personally it comes down to respect (which was SEVERELY lacking in this movie). So instead of talking about turn-ons, I can say - without a doubt - that lack of respect (from either side) is a complete turn off. And the male assumption that it's ok to wave your extremities in a woman's face (figuratively, and in the case of this move: literally)... yeah - just don't lol.

reply

That sounds like you're talking about relationship though, while he was asking about erotism.
Everyone likes to be respected. That's not the point. ;)

reply

Lois you're clearly wrong since there are 1000s of strip clubs around the country where stuff like this goes on.

And you seemed to be confused about what some women like to do when they're drunk and partying. They're not looking for a man to respect them, they're looking for a good time.

reply

This movie is not misogynistic... There are some women that enjoy this kind of fun and there is nothing wrong with that. Stop being an uptight cow and stop slut shaming women for letting their hair down.

As for the OP's question, no I would not enjoy looking at male strippers, I think they look a little silly. They are hot as heck in MM, but it would still be weird for me.

reply

Wow. Classy.

reply

I think it's hot

reply

I like looking at the way they move more than just looking at them.

But yeah, a nice body does attract me. Especially tall guys with nice arms, broad shoulders and a great bum.

Sorry if that sounds a bit objectifying!

reply

Women love that *beep* They're ravenous animals just like men are. Don't listen to that other propaganda.

reply

Exactly, I`m a woman and I think men`s bodies are beautiful when they`re in good shape and it`s a pleasure to see them dancing so sexy like in this movie and the sequel Magic Mike XXL, I saw the trailer and I`m excited. 

Been to male stripper clubs twice. Was bored out of my skull. Most males in those places can't dance, and often don't even strip to slip. I'll never bother again.

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**
