Joanna question *spoilers *
Was Joanna really engaged? The alleged fiance made a really surprised face when she said it and I wasn't sure if I just missed this or if she was really engaged.
shareI just watched this today and no, I don't think she was engaged or that was her fiancee. I think she said that as (at least in her mind) a nice way of telling Mike it was over or she didn't want to see him anymore. Like you said, the other guy looked surprised and when he left for the bathroom the way he called her "honey" or whatever did not seem genuine like it was the first time he had ever called her something like that. And what real fiancee with any self respect leaves her alone with him and not even try to let Mike know that he was her man? He shook his hand twice and was like "ok, you guys should talk" and didn't really care.
At least that's what I took from that scene.
