Falling Down fell apart at the end when you find out that Michael Douglas was an abusive loser who couldn't cope. GBA is so much better because it's about a guy who does cope...on his own terms by taking out people we all hate !

Falling Down is a story about a character losing it and that's exactly what happens to him in the end. God Bless America follows a character losing it but doesn't really because the film cares more about its thin message
The movie is essentially a rant you would find on the Youtube comment section. But 2 hours and with visual material and a budget.
It's such a "make a point" film but its point is hypocritical, vague and contradictory and whenever someone questions it, the response they get is "it's just a movie" or "It's comedy. It's not serious" or some sort of irrelevant witty zinger.
I don't think this movie is just a comedy, and I liked it a lot.
Intolerance shouldn't be protected by tolerance or freedom of speech, because works exactly against them. This movie just put intolerance against intolerance.
Bobcat just confront violence with violence. The fact the many people feel joy while they are seeing the protagonists killer spree just prove Bobcat's point:
the society of the spectacle is a violence against many people, don't matter if they are liberals or conservatives.
