worst animated movie ever and its 7 out of 10?

Well, its not the worst, but its a horrible movie with dumb stupid characters and the penguins have lost their funniness they had in the Madagascar movies. They should have put some of the Madagascar animals in it, it would have been a little better then. And the story? Completely retarded in every aspect. Maybe it was aimed at 5 yr olds? My 9 yo hated it as well and he liked the other movies with the penguins in it, but this lacked heart and soul and any sort of thing that was good or entertaining. 3 out of 10

Clearly you knew nothing about the penguins. If you want to watch a movie with the Madagascar characters, go watch Madagascar. This movie wasn't perfect by any means (what is?), but I found that they stayed true to the penguins.

I gave it a 7/10. Had good laughs. The humor was the same from the tv series and the Madagascar movies (except #3, there they were better). I could fill a page listing the things that are funny.I think I gave the Madagascar movies also a 7. Even rated the first up recently after rewatching. Had a 6 before.My personal flop of the year 2014 (animated movies) was 'How to Train your Dragon 2'. Rated it still 6 but considering I gave the first a 9 and expected much for the sequel the disappointment was heavier. ---Lincoln Lee: I lost a partner.Peter Bishop: I lost a universe!

Imdb is full of dickwads who moan about the ratings. If people like a film they give it a high rating, don't a low rating. Simple as that. Which means a lot more people did like it, than didn't.
