other cartoon films are making money hand over fist. this with 125 mil plus budget seems to have missed out despite having a decent rating. i have no clue!

One theory I have is that the Penguins show that was on Nick cheapened the brand. People probably thought that isn't worth a trip to the theater when they can watch it for free on TV.,

Honestly, if I had to chose between watching Big Hero 6 again and watching a Penguins movie that has mixed reviews I would go with the former.

big hero 6 was better lol I almost fell asleep the first 15 mins of this annoying movie

Just too many cartoons being released, although the quality of the films are good, some of the movies are bound to miss the big bucks.
