People of Chicago..

Being from Dublin I'm kinda a outsider looking in. having watched the documentary which I thought was really good I wanted to know how Cubs fan feel about Steve? Embarresed?
Every team in sports has a small percentage of fans who act like scum.. But Jesus Christ he got hammered by everyone!

Just wanted to know peoples thoughts on a lad who in his part as acted way beyond the means of a normal human being!

I felt bad for him. He did what about 10 other people were also doing but he got singled out b/c he was the closest. I feel he was picked on b/c he was a nerd. If he had been a bigger guy no one would have had a problem with what he did.

If by "scum" you mean "human, then I agree with you. But if by "scum" you mean "scum", I disagree. There isn't a person in the world (with arms) that can honestly say they wouldn't have been caught up in the moment and tried to catch the ball also. Proof? Look at the video again. See all the other people trying to catch it as well?

Again, he acted like anyone else would have. Watch the video again. Count the arms.

When I say 'scum' im talking about the fan who threw beer at him, and the guy who tried to hit him. I support a football team (soccer team) and every team has a section of support who ruin it by fighting, signing inappropriate songs etc

I agree. And in the video the guy that wanted to fight him was the biggest tool of all. 12 years later and you could tell in the interview that he was still proud of "standing up to the Evil Bartman".

I'm glad they kicked that drunken idiot out of the game after he wouldn't go sit back down.

One last thing, when I say ' how do fans feel about Steve? Embarrassed' I'm talking about the Cubs fans reaction to him
I'd love him to come out and give an interview
