Drags
3 hours was in no way needed to tell this story. The 2 part series is incredibly long, 3 hours, for essentially no reason. About 2 hours of this documentary is talking about pretty typical celebrity type things ie. raising money, hosting shows, and being interviewed. Never did I feel like he was wildly eccentric or even unique. By the time you get to the show's conclusion you are told one extremely chilling tale of his victims' abuse and then are presented with a bunch of text and something like a hype trailer for the film itself.
This movie completely fell flat as the conclusion is nothing surprising and the "evidence" of 400 people claiming assault is never even presented. Rather, it is just brushed over as a title card stating over 400 people came forward with claims.
The dude is definitely a pedophile, but this film was not successfully damning. Oh well.
