The film wasn't that bad, it just wasn't good either. I have to disagree on her acting though, she did a really decent job with what she was given.

not necessarily. i've been in a couple indie films. with budgets that look similar to this one. that had even bigger stars in them. and most of the actors, even the bigger ones, did NOT make enough money for how truly not great the films were and how it portrayed us all in the end. if i could back, no the money was not enough for how badly i regret doing such bad films. i suppose it's not as bad for her, because shes done way more stuff than me and prob has more money and no offense to her but she already ruined her career so why not make a little bit of cash and do a movie? but if shes trying to make a comeback.....like show people hey i can still act..... and shes ok financially... she doesnt need this crap. and shouldnt be doing it.... and prob didnt make a huge check that everyoen seems to think all movies dish out. they can be so small its smaller than "normal people" make in working the same amount of time. i bet they also filmed this movie in 3 weeks or so. so even less time is less money as well.
shareI don't think it's bad that she took a B movie role, we all have bills to pay. Wouldn't she have residuals from the OC, though? I don't know why I'm asking you, lol. But it seems to me it was decently popular and that she could probably live modestly on that income and be a bit more choosy about her roles if it's her "comeback." On the other hand, Gary Oldman has made such horrify(ingly bad) movies as The Unborn, and LITERALLY said in interviews that he hasn't seen it, but enjoys his new boat. So there are just some great actors willing to do whatever comes their way, for whatever reason (maybe a favor? boredom? a travel opportunity? boat payments, lol?).
Unfortunately, Mischa is not a great actor, but she is very pretty. Surely she could do endorsements, modeling, or host some sort of reality tv thing if she really is hard up.
