I'm not sure I understand you. The show will air its 6th series over the winter.

Thank you.
sharePardon my nosiness. Is there a reason you don't want to watch a show unless it's finished? We found this particular series at the beginning of season 3; watched season 3 as it aired in the USA; went back and watched seasons 1 and 2 streaming; and finally continued on with seasons 4 and 5 watching as it aired and then watching a second time when it was released for streaming (well, still waiting for Netflix to release season 5 streaming; it's only just now available on disc).
Anyway, it wouldn't occur to me to not watch a show until the entire series is over. Gosh, for long-running shows you could be waiting 10 years or more! Life's too short for me to wait that long.
Switching from a series/season per week to watching 1 episode per week and waiting for something to restart is a no-no for some folk.
I can watch a show that has ended it's run start to finish over a few months or I can start a new show as it just beginning and get used to the wait during the end of series break and during the mid-series break, but I personally can't jump in to a new show that has already aired for a few series and is still running.
Somehow my brain loses interest, you absorb several years of the show over a period of months but then the sudden need to wait that same length of time just to grab 1 new episode each week sort of declines your interest in the show.
Some people are like that. I've watched The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones since day 1 so my brain accepts that I get them in bite-size chunks, I've also marathon-watched entire finished shows, but trying to jump in to a show that is still running? It does not work.
