Yes, we know it's simplistic and cheesy, but we get a kick out of it. A guilty viewing pleasure.

At this time of year a show with gorgeous beaches and constant sunshine will do it every time. I almost hate the show for exactly that reason, it reminds me I don't live in the Caribbean :D

We live on the river in Florida. So a lot of the show looks like... well... here. So that's not a drawing card for me. But I enjoy the camp and the mystery. Some of them (like the parrot episode) I figured out 5 minutes in, others in the middle, a few not at all.

It's just a fun little show.

I love the show as well. Not everything has to be dark, broody Oscar/Emmy winning material. Sometimes it's fun to just sit back, relax and enjoy. :)

We also like "Midsomer Murders" which has a similar tone.

This is (maybe was) one of my favorite shows. Love it. Every show doesn't have to be dark/gritty/blood & guts/sex & violence. I'm fed up of them

I agree. I absolutely love this show. All of the actors are fabulous and have great chemistry. It's just so fun even though it's about murder.
