It's not a good film, but I am still so fascinated with it. Seriously, I don't know why. I find the humor of it, yet still see why all the reviews are horrible. The film is completely unrealistic on every level, especially the last act. It's directed like a b-movie shlock film.
But for some reason, I followed this film from the day it was announced. For some reason, I end up watching it again. I must have seen it like 4 times. While I watch it, I say to myself, "Yeah, this a bad film."
Yet, I continue to watch.
Anyone else like this?
I feel EXACTLY the very same way. It's far from being a good movie, and it's not as good as its preecessors, but there's something about it that totally fascinates me. I have no idea what it is. I mean, the movie is way too long, the direction is often very, very lazy, a couple of Laser's overacting scenes are highly annoying, and... well, the whole thing is a huge *beep* mess.
Yet, I already watched it 3 times and I'm sure I will watch it a couple more times, probably because it IS so unbelievably weird. Laser got so many, many hilarious lines ("I need my ball sack emptied before lunch."), the first scene between him and Roberts (Cuban cigars) makes me giggle like crazy, the rape dream sequence, the castration, the doctor with no license, the clitorisses, Tom Six vomiting, the human caterpillar... it is all so freaking ridiculous, I just can't get enough of it.
