It was a great movie.
The acting, photography, music and feeling were all great.
It's indeed a pretty heavy and sad movie without any sort of hollywood happy ending or resolution, but, we get completely immersed on Wade's dillema and Maggie' struggle.
What's with the 5 something score?
Only idiots expecting an arnold shoot'em up would rate this low.
I think the flaw in the film is that I wasn't immersed in Wade's dilemma. There was no conflict between the two main characters, and his decision was empirically simple. I can't blame those who would call that a fatal error.
Otherwise, this film is gorgeously shot, extremely well acted, beautifully scored and has a lot of profound moments.

I think a lot of people downvoted it exactly because they expected a full blown action movie.
Over time, it might even out somewhere in the mid 6 range.
