Watch it for the visuals
I didn't expect anything at all from this movie, I just stumbled into it. Granted, there were a couple of minutes around the middle where I actually nodded off - my fault, tired people shouldn't watch slow, elegiac movies - but in general, the photography is marvellous. Even Schwarzenegger kind of blends in and "makes himself smaller".
OK, it would have been a much better movie if it had more insight into the girl's feelings, or with one of those "instant Sundance cred" fathers, I don't know, Michael Shannon, Steve Buscemi, William H Macy, you name it...
As it is, it's worth watching if
1. you hate Schwarzenegger like I do, but discover you can actually stomach two hours of this movie,
2. you love that kind of photography/visuals.
