Thoughtful take on the subject of terminally ill people

Aside from the infectious nature of the disease, this was a lot like watching a family go through the slow death of a loved one who has cancer.

Arguments about euthanasia could be replaced for the films dialog about killing the infected.

And who is being fair to whom? Was Wade being selfish for letting his daughter go that far into the illness before ending it? I think so. He wasn't not killing her for her he was doing it so he would not lose his daughter. Even if the longer he waited the worse it got for her. Imagine parents facing a painless injection (or bullet as the analogy is here) or standing by watching their loved one in agony. And they choose to put their child through the agony of a terrible death rather than lose them a week. a day, an hour sooner. Pure selfishness.

And in the end he STILL could not bring himself to do it. She had the strength of character, even when nearly full on, to end herself.

Abigale made the film. Arnold was okay but no heavy lifting acting wise. Just furrowed eyebrows 99% of the time.
