Lethal Injections

I don't seem to understand why people didn't just give them lethal injections? That would give them a quick, pain-free (is it?) death.

Guns just seem a bit too much pain sometimes, and it is difficult to pull the trigger

I think it was implied that the injections would be anything but "Pain-free"

That only makes sense if the body reactions have changed so much that what can kill a normal without pain, kills the Turned with a lot of pain.

They mentioned cocktail, but I'm not sure how that is/was different from the lethal injections we have now

So you're saying while they are in transition from human to zombie why not give them lethal injection and by lethal injection you mean what we currently use for executions right?

Yes.

And yes to the first part too. When they are in transition, they should have been given the lethal injections so they don't turn in the first place.

Very late reply and I'm no expert but according to some stuff I've read, lethal injections are not really painless. They are painful but they just paralyze the dying person so to people watching the execution, the death looks painless. If this is the case, then maybe the quarantine cocktails are the same as the lethal injections (or a much cheaper version).

To me, a bullet to the head is a quicker, cheaper, more painless way to die.

reply

Maybe.
